BSA Troop # 116

About Us

Boy Scout Troop 116 is a traditional, Boy lead Troop using the patrol method and guided by trained adult leaders.

Troop 116 serves boys from 11 to 18 years of age. Our Troop meets every Monday night at 7:00pm at Saint Thomas the Apostle Church at 3774 Jackson St., Riverside, CA. at the Katherine Drexel Center.

The objectives Boy Scout movement are to develop reverence, character, citizenship and personnel fitness. Troop 116 being a traditional unit uses camping, hiking and other outdoor activities and community service as the primary methods of accomplishing these objectives.

The following are some of our activities:

Camping- Summer Camp and weekend campouts
Hiking
Community Service
Fundraising
Lunch Brigade- help feed the homeless
Mount Rubidoux Easter Service trail clean up
Flag Retirement Ceremony
